Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026  |  Last updated: October 3, 2026

DEETOE CO. LLC (“DEETOE CO.”, “we”, “us”) is a digital studio in Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect through deetoeco.com, our forms, our store and our client portal, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • What you send us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number and address when you fill in a form, join a waitlist, book a call, make a purchase or become a client.
  • Project details. What you tell us about your project, plus any photos, files, measurements, logos or CAD files you send, and the messages we exchange.
  • Payment records. What you bought or were invoiced for, and whether it was paid. Card and bank details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Website visits. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information: the pages visited, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your IP address in server logs. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site; it uses cookies. We also count page views with our own tool, which uses no cookies and does not record your name, email or IP address.

2. How we use it

  • To answer your questions and prepare estimates and quotes.
  • To do the work you hire us for: websites, hosting, marketing and social media, software and apps, 3D design and printing, stitch files, photo and video, and on-site tech services.
  • To deliver programs and files you buy, and to let you know when a program you joined the waitlist for is available.
  • To send invoices, receipts, payment reminders and updates about your project.
  • To keep our website, hosting and client portal secure and running, including blocking spam and abuse.
  • To see which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Stripe processes card and bank payments.
  • Our email provider delivers the emails we send you. Messages you send through our forms go straight into our own client system, which is stored with the hosting and database providers below.
  • Our hosting and database providers store the website, the client portal and its data.
  • Google provides Google Analytics for visitor statistics.
  • QuickBooks receives invoice and payment records for our bookkeeping.
  • A local photographer, if you book a photo or video shoot outside West Michigan, receives the contact and location details needed for the shoot.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

4. The client portal

Clients get a private portal account. It holds your account details, projects, messages, files, quotes, contracts and invoices so we can deliver your services. The portal uses cookies only to keep you signed in. If we manage your social media, the photos and videos you send us are stored there too.

5. How we protect it

Our website and portal are served over encrypted connections (SSL), access to client information is limited to us, and passwords we keep for your accounts are stored encrypted. No website or online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you if we learn of a problem that affects you.

6. How long we keep it

We keep client and project records for as long as you are a client and afterward as needed for our business and tax records. Messages from people who don’t become clients are kept so we can follow up, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to be taken off a waitlist or mailing, by emailing info@deetoeco.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept for tax and legal reasons.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
