The builds
Fix it. Print the parts.
We restore classic vehicles, tools and machines, and film every step. When a part is broken, gone, or never made again, we design it and print it.
Watch the builds.
From our TikTok: 3D printed parts going on real vehicles.
Build log
The handle's body as drawn in CAD, before it was printed.
1970 Duster: the door card handle.
The armrest that is also the door opener and closer handle is 3D printed, with its body shaped to the original 1970s Duster door panel.
- The printed part fits the original door.
- The panel is ABS plastic cut to size, wrapped in foam and fabric, and attached to the printed part.
- Prototypes were printed and tried before the final one.
- The custom speaker inserts in the back of the same Duster are made the same way.

Build log
1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ: the switch mod.
A seven-switch plate for the center dash pod, with rounded edges in the original style.
- Positions
- Seven. The middle one holds a USB-A and USB-C module instead of a switch.
- Fit
- Every switch sits in a pocket sized to it, tested until each one clicked and held.
- Latches
- Snap each switch in. The thin first arms snapped, so they were made thicker with braces at the root.
- Designed in code
- Any size can be changed and printed again. It was lengthened after the first one came out too short for the pod.

The video of it going in is coming this week.
